I loved how beautifully decorated and well-maintained the hotel was. The charming French decor in the rooms and the common areas created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The general areas, such as the terrace and the pool area, were easily accessible for senior people like me. It was wonderful to relax in the comfortable seating by the pool and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The children working there, Jaime and Veronique, were always attentive and made me feel completely taken care of during my stay.
If I could ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people, it would be to have an elevator or some assistance with luggage. It can be a bit challenging to carry heavy bags up the stairs, especially for those with limited mobility.

We stayed at Les Ambeles Bed & Breakfast for a week to explore the wine region. The house was wonderful, with spacious rooms and a beautiful garden. The pool was long enough for actual swimming and the surroundings were quiet and perfect for relaxation. The hosts were friendly and provided useful information on wine tasting and restaurants, even making reservations for us. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection, including fresh fruit and non-dairy yogurt upon request. We loved talking to them about wine, food, and the garden.
Totally recommend this hotel.

There were no restaurants within walking distance, so a car was necessary to find somewhere to eat. Additionally, the breakfast provided was not as varied as expected.
